Only change I have heard is the antler restrictions in central TX.   Bucks must be 13" wide on beam spread or have at least one spike in 40 new counties.  Same laws have been in place on a few southern counties for a couple of years  and has had great results and happy hunters.   Unfortunately for Leon Co., the laws allow for two bucks instead of the one buck limit, but overall I am much in favor of protecting some of the young bucks.   Only time will tell, but it is a step in the right direction of adding some age to the buck population.

that sounds like the same or similar law that was added to Waller county last season.   You could harvest a spike, or if the buck had forked antlers, then it had to have a minimum 13" inside spread.
