Hodgdon, Lyman, Speer, Sierra, Hornady = reliable resources
so and so's pages on the internet = not reliable resources
Alway check loads you find on the internet against manuals.
NEVER exceed maximum listed loads.

I shoot a standard 6mm x 30 (just a necked down 30-30 no shoulder angle change. here is my favorite load;

Remington case (30-30 brass 129 gr +/- 1 gr) sized trimmed and neck turned (128 grains + / - 1 grain)
trimmed length 2.0"
OAL 2.595"
Sierra 85 gr, Spitzer #1520
32.1 grains of IMR4064
CCI 200 primer
3002 fps from a 24 inch barrel (chronographed)
average group size .625 at 100 yards
Standard deviation 12.7 fps

NOTE: this is an excellent deer cartridge. In my rifle the chamber neck is a bit tight - if you don't need to turn the neck then don't.
I tried H335 but found that no charge produced usable loads. I had cratered primers from 31.5 all the way down to 28 grains of H335. If I had found a load below 28 grains that  didn't crater primers it would have yielded velocities too low to use. I wanted a load that was at or above 3000 fps with an 85 grain bullet that produced sub MOA groups and I have it - so I stopped looking for any better loads.

I have found some data on line and 4064 is mentioned in all of them.This barrel must be the improved ,the shoulder is pretty sharp ( 40 degrees )and the body is nearly straight.I formed some brass using 7-30 waters and 243 win dies then fireformed.These loads grouped at 1" at 45 yards.I paid $75.00 for this tube I may have a good one .

I got to looking at some of the 30-30 cases I fireformed.These were old case's been reloaded a few times.I checked the case body just in front of the web and it had expanded .009" bigger than the solid base of the case.I fireformed some from 375 win case and it was not as bad.Who ever cut this chamber must of cut it a little big. I am going to neck size only for a while and see what happens.

wg - sorry I was on vacation for the last couple weeks. On a prairie dog safari so I had access to a computer but not to loading data. I will get it for you. Met a couple forum members out on the farm and we spent a few days and several hundred rounds of ammo.....thinning the herd....so to speak.
