mike left today. for those of you who don't know mike is my soon to be brother inlaw (he and my older sister where going to be married this month before this happen) mikes at camp aterburry right now and in two days he will be in A-stan for a 18 month trip serving with the 10 MTN. keep him in your prayers and for petes sake keep my sister there too , its a good thing i'm leaving caz i don't think i can handle this.[/b]

update:

i talked to mike the today and he has seen a lot of crap. and the most he's seen was just today in south A-stan, he said there was about 40 BG's killed in about 3 hours of fighting. he also said that just last week he was guard duty when a suicide bomber came charging him and is NCO , the bomb blow before he got to them but it still sounds like he had a close one.

keep praying for him guys its seams to be working (he's not got hit yet)
