No question here, just wanted to share a photo of my 13 year old boy shooting the Kimber that will belong to him someday. We set up some cans on tree limbs at about 25 steps. I was going to correct his grip and his stance a little but out of 50 rounds he hit about 45 of them. And the wind was blowing hard and those cans were dancing around a lot. We were shooting 230 fmj Wolf ammo. I had never used it before but got two boxes as a Christmas gift. It seemed to perform very well. Had Blake shoot an old top of corner post and most of the rounds went right through the 8" post and he put 5 rounds in a 50 cent size group. So I think the ammo worked pretty good. You can't tell I'm proud of the boy can you. I only shot 4 rounds, didn't want him to have to much fun out doing me. :)

It looks like he's learning to flinch.  Keep the .22 front and center in his attention.

My guess is that his hearing protection is not up to snuff.

He is indeed a handsome one. Sorry about the negative comment before but I'd hate to see him develop a fear of shooting.  My boy is 13 too and I haven't started him on centerfire pistols yet.

Very Cool! I do the same stuff with my 14 year old daughter, she loves the 45 acp and the 44 mag revolver. Cant get her to shoot deer, yet.

I love to see youngsters enjoying the shooting sports.  Having a good parent to teach safety, ethics and technique instills a lot of great values.  I look forward to the day my son and I are posting pic like those. (he's only two now, so the 45 ACP is a little much for him right now.) Kudos to you and the lad
