Picked up a new Encore Pro-Hunter ML today

I just came back from the gun store with a New Encore Pro-Hunter 50 cal ML.  Price was $725.00, I also picked up a Leupold 3X9X40 for it also. What I great set up, I can't wait to get to the range with it.  :D

Nice, very nice.  Lucky you.  Can't wait to hear the performance report, as this is the next ml on my shopping list.

I have not seen any of just the barrels. Contact TC and see if they can give you a list of distributors or if you could get them direct.

The difference is, you can move the hammer off sets to either your left or right, or you can leave it dead center. I like to mount my scopes as close to the barrel as possible so I have the hammer off set to the right. The only other difference between the frames is the Pro-hunter engraving on the frame. The M/L barrel is fluted, comes with a T-handle rod and the 90 degree breech plug. The other thing that I like is the feel of the new stock and forearm. When I get to the range I will give a report back.  :D

What is this 90 deg breach plug?

It is different from the standard breech plug. All you have to do is rotate the breech plug 90 degrees and out it comes.  Here is a site with a pic.
