Wow Dusty, that's quite an interesting idea. I don't know what you hope to gain by it, but if that's what blows out your pipes, let 'er rip. Or more interestingly, I'd like to know if doing this kind of work on an FA gun yields any measurable difference in performance. So far as I know, Ruger is the company that's responsible for this late craze for throat massage in single action revolvers. The reason I prefer guns of the FA ilk is that they are excellent from the factory. If I wanted a tinker toy to keep the world's gunsmiths employed I'd go back to buying Rugers. Fortunately that's not going to happen.
