Does anyone know about this type of gun FN 5.7 x 28. Seems like it would make a great in the truch pistol that holds 20 rounds. Is the ammo hard to find

I fired one at the range the other day.  It shoots very flat.  It fires a small bullet at high velocity.  The mag held a lot of rounds, that's for sure!.  Ammo is scarce, (around here), and there is one particular class (armor penetrating?) that is only available to military.  It is an interesting pistol, and well made.  It functioned flawlessly, and was accurate.  I'm not sure it would be my top self-defense gun, but a lot of great fun guns aren't.

I own one--went looking for a .38 super (back in that LZ again) and found one. Did some research and bought it.
Ammo is not that hard to find.
I love shooting it and it functions flawlessly, it is a FN so it should.
I also like the 20 rounds.
I also like the green rounds, which can be found.
What it lacks in weight is made up for in fast (read fast-fast-fast) recovery and sight retention.
I also like the funky trigger guard.

The only thing that keeps me from owning one of the FN
pistols is that I have not hit the lottery yet!
I would love to see someone produce a nice handy
little Semi-auto carbine for that round. Or a light little bolt action
for vermin hunting.

Wouldn't that be a hoot to shoot!

$$$$$    They cost just to the south of $2000 ($1800) and a local gunstore is taking deposits on the ones when they get in.

Have you checked Marburgers in Kemah? I got mine there and it was not nearly that much.

:D For the FN pistol, they run about $700.  the carbine is about $1500.  Check Gunbrokers, they have several for sale there.
