I am shooting one, it is an older one from Missouri - but It really shoot great.
I do not know if this is the best targt load or not but I shoot a variety of .451/.452 - 300 grain bullets in an MMP HPH-24 sabot - pushed by 100 grain of T7-2f loose powder. Actually the gun I have will shoot just about anything well. For elk hunting I load a .458 (45-70) Nosler partition in an MMP .458 Orange sabot - that one will shoot really well. I am also shooting the new Speer 300 and 250 grain Gold Dots - they really might be the poor mans Nosler or Barnes bullet.
The other day just experimenting I bought a box of Hornady 10mm 200 grain XTP's and some MMP 40 cal blue sabots - set that on top of a 110 grains of T7-2f - they shoot GREAT - right at 2200 feet per second.
If you have one hope you have fun with it...
