New Scopes from THE OPTIC ZONE
« on: March 25, 2003, 08:29:08 AM »
In some of my recent posts, I have stated that I have purchased from 2 of 3 of our optics sponsers.  Specifically, I have ordered from www.dnrsports.com and Chris at www.SWFA.com.  (I recently placed an order with Chris at SWFA and will tell you about my great experience with his company once I receive my scope.  In the meantime, let me take this opportunity to tell all you guests and members about my recent experience with Jon at the Opticzone.)

Prior to last week, I had not ordered from Jon at www.theopticzone.com.  As such, I wanted to "spread the wealth" by making a purchase from the optic zone by supporting them as one of our great sponsors.

I still have numerous rifles that are NIB and have not shot them.  Part of the reason why, of course, is because I don't have scopes on them.  In particular, I have a Remington BDL SS in 7mm Ultra Mag and I initially ordered an Elite 4200 4x-16x-40mm.  I sent my money to Jon, but later changed my mind and upgrade to get the Elite 4200 4x-16x-50mm.  Jon was great!  He took care of my order as if I was a King (not to get too excited because I have heard from many of you that great personal attention is one of the great things that you liked about your purchase from the opticzone.).

Then, I have a Tikka Laminated Stainless in 25-06 on which I already had a Nikon (non Monarch) scope mounted on it in optilock rings and bases.  I upgraded the scope to a Nikon Monarch 3x-9x-40mm and am keeping the other Nikon (which is still a great scope) as a back-up scope.

Let me reiterate that the service that I received from Jon at the opticzone was just great.  Not only does he run a great optics company, but he knows a great deal about what he is selling.  If you go to his website you will see that he has provided certain reports on certain scopes.  I can't remember what exact scopes they are off the top of my head, but you will see them when you log on.  In addition, I have spoken to him on the phone, and communicated by numerous emails.  Simply put, Jon will make sure that you are HAPPY,  :-D no matter what!

In any event, I received both of the scopes today.  The Nikon Monarch 3x-9x-40mm (I own other Monarchs, but not this particular one) is a very clear and bright scope - not surprising seeing that it's a Nikon Monarch.  The Elite 4200 4x-16x-50mm is just AWESOME.  When comparing it next to my Leupold Vari-X III 4.5x-14x-50mm Illuminated, I firmly believe that the Elite 4200 has much better glass!

I am very happy with my new scopes, and I am even more happy with the QUALITY PERSONAL SERVICE that I received from the opticzone.  In addition, the prices at the opticzone are SUPER LOW!!!!

I AM VERY PROUD TO HAVE THE OPTICZONE AS OUR SPONSOR AND RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL OF YOU.  THANKS JON!!! :D

Zachary,

I had the same experience with Jon, purchase a Nikon Monarch UCC  3.3X10X44 AO a few weeks ago and he really gave me great service.  I was ordering the rings at the same time, but didn't know the model number and I told him what I wanted and he sent it along with scope and it was the right rings and bases.  I trust him, will purchase my next scope from him in the next month.

By the way I love that Nikon Monarch.

Regards,

Buck

dbuck,

I sure am glad to hear continued praise for Jon, especially since he has a new company.

I guess there's just something to be said about low prices and quality service - it's the key to good business!
