forcing cone

Hi everyone,  I recieced my 10 ga. turkey barrel for my ultra slug hunter.  I took the barrel to gander Mtn. to get scope mounts, While I was there I asked the gun smith about the forceing cone job, he held the barrel up, looked down the bore and said it has already been lengthened or relieved or something to that matter.  My question is are these barrels coming with the forcing cones already done?  Can one tell that easy by looking down the barrel?  Should I ask another gun smith?                                      Thanks For Any Info.

My gunsmith told me the same thing about my SB2 10..  I had to trust him because I can't tell the difference.  He has a full staff of gunsmiths ready to do the work..so I figured he would have taken the job if there was money to be made.  He gave me a long explination and actually drew it out on paper for me.  It made sense and I have never gotten a second opinion.  I did burnish the barrel though and it shoots great.
