Such as : Who may operate them (min. age? need a special license?), what kind are legal (4-wheeler,6wheelers, passengers or not?) helmet, insurance requirements ect.  I know its a lot of questions but if you could answere any or point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,

I cannot answer all of your questions, but I do know that, yes- 4 wheelers are legal, at least generaly speaking, and yes you must wear a brain bucket as well.

Age:  I'm not really sure, but I know that kids who don't have a drivers licences are using them.

Legal types:  I don't know of any configuration that's not legal.  You can use 3 wheelers, but they can't be sold new in Ontario.  I don't believe passengers are allowed.

Helmets are required.

Insurance:  Liability insurance is required.

Their use is restricted on some roadways.  In certain areas they can be driven along the sides of certain roads, on others they are prohibited.  They can usually be used on bush roads.
Hunting is Exciting!  Bolt actions are BORING!!
Don't mix the two!

Thank you gentlemen, You've helped quite a bit.  :-D  I was actually hoping that a person could carry a passenger on a quad, oh well.

you need a drivers license to operate an atv as it is a motor vehicle.  u also need to have a helmet and insurance and cannot have a passenger.  you can run on the sides of certain hwys axcept 400 series.  you cannot go over like 50 km/hr
