I am not.  Should have started a couple days ago but had some obligations to attend to.

Hope to set out 15 or 20 sets tomorrow.  Than crank up  by weeks end.

Couple of pictures to get a guy in the mood.

Pounding them. Got 36 last couple weeks from southern metro area. going up north this weekend. Heard ice is still pretty thick yet not safe to walk on. ran into quite a few guys. Love the smell of Timber on a mud pie.

Only got nine sets out today.

Nothing ever seems to work out right.  Had to take my three year old with.  If I would have started out early and hit it I could have easily made 20 decent sets.

Hope the lakes break open for a few days before I return to work.

good for you for taking along your little one, though. I definitely lose productivity when I take my 4-year old along, but then when we have lunch together on some log way out the woods somewhere, and he looks up and smiles at me, I could care less what we do the rest of the day then. I usually end up with both my backpack and my 4-year old up on my shoulders for the hike back, too. Sure have a good time with him...and hopefully he will look back someday and remember these as fun times with dad...

Jim I have never looked at bringing my kids along as a detriment.  I take them with whenever they are not in school.

Problem is in the spring with a real young one it can be dangerous.  Two weeks the rivers were screaming.  I would hate to think what would happen if I fell in let alone the youngun.
