Bedford County style rifles
« on: April 16, 2006, 02:11:20 PM »
I've always admired and wanted to build a Bedford County style rifle.  They're the sleekest, slenderest and most graceful of the originals, in my opinion.  However, I'm a .50 cal, man and I wonder if the originals might have been small caliber, since they are so slender.  Anybody know about that?

Some of us York County natives disagree, but that just might be sectional prejudice.
