Just like folks have said all along!  A real work of art!  Love the oct barrel and those grips!  It looks like the frame is case colored and the trigger is set back.  Give us the scoop Lloyd.  She is one nice looking gun! :-)

Lloyd:  Congrats on your custom Ruger!! :D   It looks like it'll be a beauty.  I've got a 5 1/2 Bisley Vaquero that's crying out to be customized.  How much did the custom work on your new piece cost?

I wont quote exact prices because hes a freind but to have one built simualrly your looking at close to 3000 bucks with him doing the gripsand thats something i highly recomend. If you ever had a pair of his grips in your hand youll know what im talking about. NOTHING feels better in the hand with heavy recoiling guns then Dustins grips..

Boy do I love them big bore handguns. Looks like a blast to shoot. (Literally)  :-D  :D

My only big bore single action revolver is my BFR in 500 Mag. I have traded off all my blackhawks and Freedom Arms.  But I have plenty of the double action big boomers.  :D

If you've got it, spend it.  Otherwise someday the nursing home will take it!!

Enjoy your new piece!  Once you've had the chance to wring it out, please give us a detailed range report. :D
