Yup we got hacked last night. I've fixed what I can but it's still showing on every thread on the site. Matt is going to try to write a program to remove it or we may be able to get a back up from our host that is say 24 hours or so old that we can replace and only lose a few posts but get rid of the war message.

Give us a little time and we'll try to get it back to normal.

In the mean time anyone can edit their own post if they started the thread to remove it. So can moderators on their forums. I'll delete some as I see them today.

Hopefully Matt will find a mass fix soon but until then members and moderators can help by deleting it with an edit.

It's a shame!

 I wonder if they realize that what they just did, turned off anyone that would have agreed with them about the war. My spelling is terrible but to misspell Iraq, come on were talking rocks here! :D

Guys, don't be so darned colonial.  The hacker is most likely from outside the US with english as a second or third language.  Like it or not this is a global village we post in.  How do you spell Iraq in Arabic or Indonesian or Farsi?  What's the matter, can't you spell it?    :-D  :)  :D

DId the Hacker leave his signature(handle) on the hack.
Were you able to Isolate any kind of an IP address.
The Reason I am asking is that I am the person who Identified
who the Hacker "ScorpionKTX" was. It took me about 16 months,
but he will never get his MCSE renewed. I work in Information Technology now and It is a blast trying to figure out who these little
piss-ants are. I still have a lot of POLICE blood left in me I guess.
