257-300 ultramag
« on: February 28, 2003, 03:03:17 PM »
Wow i came across this last night from rental rreamers a 257 on the 300 ultramag case talk about alot of powder in a tiny hole. But if the barrel would last 500 to 800 rounds it would be a lifetime of hunting after load development.
Anybody heard or used this round?
Would it be that much faster then a 257 stw?my quess is probabely not that much maybe 100fps maybe.
Any info would be appreciated.
