I may have missed it, but do you hunt from a stand with a rest? If so, the
heavy barrel is a plus. If not, just see how the guns handle for you! For many people, if they hunt from a climbing/hang on stand or still hunt, you may want a lighter rifle. Determine how YOU will use the rifle, I use both types, depending on the conditions.
Your size and strength come into play here. What is light for some is heavy for others. I have to laugh when I read articles & the "experts" tell us what the proper weight of rifles are for "woods" hunting, etc. The reader may be a 5'7" & 140# pencil pusher or he may be a 6'5" & 275# Oil Field Rough Neck, but yea baby, this is what the rifle should weigh, yea right!!
