Can any one dispell the rumour that they are going to stop making 303 factory ammo ?
If so would it be worth getting a rifle that is built off a P14 action rebarrelled to 303-25 ?

Why not consider getting started reloading and enjoy the freedom it will afford you in he future? It really isn't that difficult and there are plenty of friends here who would be glad to get you started.

There will ALWAYS be sombody making .303 ammo it just may not be remchester. Heck Wolf has started marketing 303Brit just this past year.

Not likely. At last glance I believe the 303 Brit was still on the top 10 list of cartridges sold and components for it are still on that list. HTH. Mikey.

Nothing new to add, but just to reinforce what's been said, there are a lot of ammo companies out there besides the big 3 in the US (Remington, Federal, Winchester). Somebody will make ammo.

And also reiterating, for less than $100 you can get setup with a basic reloading kit by Lee. This will ease a lot of fears about ammo availability for just about anything. For most stuff (.303 Brit being an exception) you can even make brass for a cartridge from another type of case. Heck a little over a year ago I made several hundred rounds of 7.62x25mm by cutting down .223 Win brass and using .30 carbine bullets. They bulge just a smidge on firing, but otherwise work fine.
