Exploded Diagram for Complete Disassembly
« on: April 16, 2006, 12:59:38 AM »
I have acquired a rusty H&R model 088 and I would l like to completely disassemble it.  I could start knocking out pins and hope I am doing it right.  Then I can pray I get it back together correctly.  I would rather find an exploded diagram and some instructions.  Are any available?
Looking for Stevens Buckhorn model 066 .22 cal rifle
C.U.T.E. ---> technical firearm info

Exploded Diagram for Complete Disassembly

I know of a few:

1) Numrich Gun Parts Online. I don't see the 088 listed specifically, but a host of other number variations (188, 158, 157, etc.)appear, mostly the newer, transfer-bar style. Their printed catalog features a diagram, also the t-bar type:

2) NRA's American Rifleman, December 1988 edition (with reassembly tips).

3) The Gun Digest Book Of Exploded Long Gun Drawings: Contains illustrations of both styles of actions, newer transfer-bar type and older without t-bar system.

Numrich is a good source for various and sundry parts as well.  :wink:
