Mine is an older, one of the 1st, 1894's in .44 mag. I put a peep on it but haven't done anything much with it as far as serious range work.
I'm thinking the 1894 would look o.k. with a low power scope and I shoot much better with glass than peeps.
Does the 1894 take the same scope base as the .336?
You guys that have the older 94s, are they accurate enough to justify the scope?
I'm probably not going to use bullets heavier than 240 grain.
I was thinking of a 1X3 or 1.5 X 4 or something along those lines for a scope.
