T/C Shock wave 45`s

I have a G2 and a Encore in 45. i am woundering if anybody eles is having trouble loading the T/C bullets in them. I have bent 2 ram rods trying to get them started. I love the way they shoot , i hate the way the load. I dont want to use a bullet starter. anyone eles with the same problem?

Only time I ever broke a jag was with the .45 Encore barrel and the .45 extended jag.  Mine only liked 225 powerbelts and I didn't want to shoot sabot/.40 cal. so I sold it and bought a White Super 91 in .451, now I can load big 460 gr. conicals with ease and actually hit the target with them....not so with the Encore .45!! :eek:

Try a little crisco on the sabot, just a thin film.

Call TC the bullets you are shooting PROBABLY came with the wrong sabots - they will replace them with the correct ones.

TC had a run of bullets packed with the wrong sabot....

I had the same problem with my encore  209x50 with both the 200 + 250 shockwaves I found if you clean the barrel they slide in fairly easy I also made a 3/8 aluminum range rod with a larger handle it eases the pressure on the hand. The first time I used them I had to practically hammer the bullet down the barrel. If I don't clean the barrel between shots I have to hammer it down the barrel. Which is kinda a bad thing when it comes to a huntintg situation. Hope that little bit helped.

One thing I forgot to ask are you useing the shockwave adapter to put on the end of your ram rod? if you don't have it just using the normal end  of the ram rod cocks the bullet off to the side which also makes it very hard to get down the barrel. it's just a little brass peice that protects the tip and helps align the bullet to the barrel as you seat it in the sabot.
