I had to go take a look... dang, almost the same ballistics as a LOTT, that is pretty impressive.  But they cost the same, and have not quite the same power, I'll stick with the LOTT!

I hear ya with the lott!!!  I will have one in the next 6-8 months in a cz...  Since Win went out I had to jump and get the safari express's while I could.  To bad the didn't camber for this in their regular line instead of a custom express.

Good to hear, those CZ's  are a good rifle.  I have a 550 American Safari in .458 LOTT, and its not a tack driver.  It's a railroad spike driver!  Very fun gun, and puts the hurt on targets.  My buddy had a metal target, and told me to put a round on it...  ripped it up, he didn't realize how much power the round really had!

You see the .30-06 mostly, it'll take care of a moose.  But I guess you see that rifle mostly anywhere.  I hunt black bears with the -06, but if I'm in dense Brown country, I carry the LOTT.  You see the .338 quite often, .375HH is popular too, and the .458win, though not as popular as the others, you see more often than the LOTT.  I would say that I see most often with the big boys over -06 are the 300mags, 338, and 375.

I would have to agree.  In Southeast we hunt alot of black tails but are usually wading through the brownies to get to them. The most popular gun is the 300 win mag followed by 338 and then 375. I have been meeting alot of people lately that really like the 300 weatherby for moose.
Ive shot 3 moose and 1, 7ft brown with 300 win mag and decided to upgrade to the 416 rigby and Iam about to purchase a 375 H&H Rem XCR for my Southeast pack rifle and keep the Rigby and 300 for moose and caribou in the interior.

If it were me up there I'd have my 338 RUM with me. Loaded with 300 RNs. :D
