Okay Guys, I went back 9 pages and only seen 2 small Quips on the 710!! My stepson bought one in 02 and his only & major complaint is the plastic sleeve in the reciever! ( Rem. is changing that this year ! ) in the cold of winter (deer season ) the bolt is very hard to work when a shot has been fired! His kids can't handle it! He would like to fix it rather than losing his BUTT! at this point he is the one who has to use it and his kids use his reg. rifle!

I bought a Remington model 710 in .300magnum.I like it very much.I
bought it in Febuary and did do some fireing with it,it was NOT as cold as it could of been here in wisconsin,so I had no problems with the bolt action,The only complaint I have and that goes for all my synthedic stock
guns,they are butt ugly to me.
