QUESTION
« on: June 11, 2006, 01:18:55 AM »
A friend, last night while playing dominos, said he recieved an e-mail of a clip showing a ranger/game enforcement person shooting a grizzly 7 times wit a 7MM mag and finishing it off with three more shots after it dropped.
He said the e-mail said it was the largest recorded grizzly ever taken in Alaska at 14 ft and 1600 lbs.
Also--the story was they found human remains in the griz and evidence that it had been previously shot.
Am I too believe this???
I have not seen the e-mail.

Don't know but it might be this that he's talking about:

There are several versions that floated around the internet several years ago......I'd guess the truth lies somewhere in the middle...

Either way.....it was a big bear.
