Left Handed 22 repeaters?????
« on: April 26, 2006, 11:40:46 AM »
Are there any left handed 22 LR repeaters being made or have any ever been made?

Watching my youngest son with a BB gun, it looks to me like his left eye is dominant.  He's almost 5 now and we don't shoot much yet.  But I thought I'd start asking and looking.

A left hand bolt would be nice - have a CZ scout for my older son and its working well but that's a right hand gun.

I suppose I could go with a lever, auto, or pubmp gun but would prefer bolt.

thanks

Check Savage.  Mark II GL in a full size and Mark II GLY in a youth size.

Hope you and that little guy have a ball shooting!

Hi, Check out www.cz-usa.com/  They make an excellent left handed .22 in the 451 model series.  When he gets older you might want to look into the Cooper Arms Model 57L ( www.cooperarms.com/ ).  Joe

thank you folks.  should have thought to check Savage but didn't know CZ made one too.

We'll have to do some range work later to verify his dominant eye.

In addition to the new ones being made Remington made a LH bolt 22 many years ago.  There's a NIB one on gunbroker auction that has been bid to $470!.
I bought mine used about 12 yrs ago for $125.
