Mossberg .410 OU and BSA SEMI-AUTO
« on: May 04, 2006, 06:42:43 PM »
tHIS IS INTERESTING.  I HAVE A BAD SHOULDER AND HAVE TURNED TO SHOOTING .410 SKEET.  ONLY A 23 SO FAR WITH ONE OF THE BSA IMPORTS THAT WENT OUT OF BUSINES SHORTLY AFTER RECEIVING 100 OF EACH GAUGE.  TRACED THEM TO HOUSTON MO AND BOUGHT THE REMAINING .410 AUTOS AND 28 GAUGES ARE AVAILABLE AT ZANDERS. HOWEVER BOTH SHOTGUNS WERE COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND HAVE PARTS THAT INHERITLY BREAK.  BUT AFTER MY GUNSMITH AND $175 FOR EACH AUTO THEY ARE FLAWLESS.  I CREATE QUITE A STIR AT THE SKEET RANGES WITH A FULL SIZE .410 AUTO WITH TUBES AND ALSO THE 28. THEY ARE BERETTA CLONES MADE IN TURKEY AND HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY REBUILT, POLISHED, RESPRUNG, RECUT PARTS REFITTED AND TRIGGER ASSY COMPLETELY REBUILT.  FINISH COST TO ME IS AROUND FIVE HUNDRED A GUN AND MY 410 IS LIKE A MACHINE GUN .  FIVE SHOTS WITH THE LITTLE SHELL AS FAST AS YOU CAN PULL THE TRIGGER .  IF INTERESTED YOU SHOULD CONTACT MY GUNSMITH IN MISSOURI AT THE SHOOTERS SHOP IN ATLANTA, MISSOURI.  DONT HAVE THE PHONE NO ON ME BUT INFO SHOULD.  AREA CODE IS 660.   tHANKS.   FOR YOUR INFO
FORGOT TO MENTION THE MOSSBERG OU OUT OF THE BOX, THE SILVER RESERVE HAD TO HAVE THE FIRING PINS RESET CAUSE THEY WERE DRAGGING THE CASE FRONT AND AFTER A HUNDRED ROUNDS ITS GOING BACK TO SHOOTERS SHOP TOMORROW TO CORRECT THE LATCH THAT IS STICKING OPEN.
