Snapping turtle
« on: September 22, 2006, 02:53:46 PM »
Saw a mounted snapper a few days ago,but no one knewanything about it.
It had about a 6 inch sewn incision above the left rear leg, tucked up under the shell, and that was it!
Any experience or ideas on how to go about this?
I'd love to give it a try.Thanks,Dave

It was in an outdoor education center in Garrett Co,MD.It had been donated, but no one knew any details.
I may get back up there after coyotes this winter,so I'll try to get some pics.
