Real black powder in an inline

Do any of you shoot Goex in thier inlines?

I am going to try it since I have a few pounds of Goex but was just wondering what loads you tried and what the results were.

I will be using the 300 gr XTP with a harvester sabot and I think that I will start with 70 or 75 grains of Goex.

Let me know what think and have found good or bad.

Thanks

in my 15" 209x50 I use 90 grs of goex powder under a barns 250 sabot or a lightfield alpha gold 300 sabots
Last year I took 3 deer with this load

In my knight lk93 I use 100 Grs of the goex under a knight 300 gr sabot.

I get very close to the same accuracy from the goex as I did with pyrodex just not as many shots, but the goex is about 1/2 the price of the pyrodex.

I have shot a lot of black powder in my inline's. I had good results but hated clean up, that is why I went to triple 7. I do however still shoot BP in my Shiloh Sharps 45-70 cartridges.  :D

Glad to hear this, I am going to shoot Goex in my Encore and see just what it will do.

Anybody check velocity variances against Pyrodex?
