Berkely, CA. Genetic scientists at the University of California at Berkely have announced a major genetic breakthrough that will give hunters an edge in making quick kills on game animals. Dr. Fritzfaddle Snortsalot told reporters today that his team has found a genetic key that will make it possible to breed game animals in the wild with a bright orange spot on their sides right over the heart/lung target area. This development will be particularly useful to those hunters who sight in their rifles at the gun range using a target with a large orange dot in the center. Dr. Snortsalot said he is hopeful that within a year he hopes to breed deer that will stop and stand sideways whenever a hunter yells, "YOOOHOOOOOOO". That characteristic, combined with the large orange dot should help to keep deer populations under control, greatly aiding game management efforts by the state.
