Count me in for some help too Dan. I'm in the "Digger School of PD Popping" right now and should graduate with honors by the time of the shoot.

I'm going to go ahead and withdraw my name from the list to allow someone else to take the spot since many folks need a fair bit of time for planning such and we're about at the max allowed now.

It appears I'll not be physically able to make the trip this year. There is a high likelihood I'll be having heart surgery of one type or another at about that time this year. Specifically what and when I won't know for sure until I've met with the heart doctor but at any rate I just don't think I'll be able to make such a drive again this year. Faye has already told me she has something else that came up that would have prevented her from making the trip at that time also.

Perhaps another year if my health doesn't keep going down hill on me.

Sorry to hear about the heart problem, But they can do amazing things to keep the old ticker working.  Almost anything can be fixed, but even with all the modern techniques, we will all be praying for you.

dano. Wes;

Add another fella that will be coming out there with me.  Joe Lambert.
This guy is an old timer in varmit hunting. Just never shot prairie dogs.
He's 71 and hunts with classic calibers 222 Rem Mag, 22-250 and a 244 Rem.
I was going to come out there by myself, but have given it some serious thought. 1000+ miles is a long way to drive alone.
So add one more to the yes, definite list.

Withdraw Joe Lambert's name from the list.
He just called me tonite and said he could not make it.
So it's back to just me coming out there with no company.

Hi Wess,  I talked to Dennis by phone and he still needs a partner, so if there is room for one more I'll be with him.

Stopped at a few dog towns yesterday on the way home from ball practice to see how the little ones were doing. The pups are about half size. they will be great targets for those that are shooting the 17 hmrs
 It seems that no one is shooting at them as we watched them for a while they didnt seem to leary. Looking forward to seeing all of you again
