Lee .35 Cal Rifle Moulds?
« on: April 02, 2003, 11:23:09 AM »
I saw on another forum that Midway offered some .35 Cal rifle moulds, a 260 grain and maybe a 200 recently. These were apparently custom made. Does anyone have one and how are they working. I contacted Lee and they think more can be made if Midway will reorder......

I have one of the 260 gr molds.  I like how I can produce large quantities of bullets in minimal time  :D On the other hand, I think the bullet design is somewhat lacking, as the long nose should be bore rider dia, not bore dia.  :(   Since I'm lazy, I'll provide a link to my previous musings about the bullet over on shooters http://talk.shooters.com/room_18/11910.cfm

I'm going to make a nose sizing die for the mold, which should cure the ingraving issue.  I'm also debating designing what I think would be a more ideal design, and having Mountain Molds make me one.
