Here's a 3 page thread at RFC on the subject, I think you answer is on page 2.

Won't pretend I've ever seen one, much less trapped one, but in my ADC readings, there seems to be several suggestions to funnel them to the trap.  Use a building and a temporary fence, or two temporary fences...

This is a good read for ya:

mmwb has the right idea.  One can use same idea for skunks that   wont go for your bait ect.   Good luck.

How many times do I got to tell you two old farts there are no armydilldos in NM!
I did re-affirm that is dang near impossible for one of those things to cross a road and live; on the way back from the SE NTA Regional in TN today we saw a truck load on their backs playing dead in eastern OK.  I guess they disperse in the spring.

As for catching them, you might rig up a tire "roll-by" next to your trap...those things seemed to be attracted to moving wheels.

Ol Wacky seems to know alot about armydillos for not having them supposedly ... dont go thru all the trouble of his offered set, just use chunk of blacktop for bait and you will get all  the armys, possums,  ect you want.... :-D

I see that ole RdFx is still a generalist in his approach to trapping.  Black top is way too much a universal attractor.  You stick to the "roll-by" tire and you will find that your dilldo to non-target ratio will really skyrocket.

I'm just an Culvert / Internet trapper when it comes to Armydilldos...I only see them along the road near culverts and talk of them over the net...I'm no expert.

No matter how many times Wacky denies it, he is still the 'dillo master. He secretely had a whole semi load delivered to NM in hopes of starting an army of 'dillos for himself to trap and to perpetuate his famous O'Dillo 'dillo set into future generations.  :) Ace

My spark is still here but I understand you have the "old" market cornered.

Speaking of old, as I drove through OK this past weekend I thought of Joe Rascal Duncan.  I wonder what ever happened to him.  Sure hope he's doing well.
