Am I the only who gets tired of people who use abbreviations to describe guns?  Winnie, remy, shottie,and a whole list of 4 and 5 word things like wtshtf,oops thats 6 words.  Guess I'm showing my age, but these things irritate the hell out of me. :?

Some may see it as a term of endearment.  I don't nickname any of mine though.  I respect them too much.

Yes, I agree with you.  It's not only firearms, they abbreviate everything and I can't follow anything there trying to talk about.  I think it's just lazy youth and we'll have to learn to live with it.

It's more impatience than laziness. It's not like I'm writing a book that's going to be published. But if it bothers you that much, have Graybeard make it a forum rule, and I'll follow it.
