Got a crossman 670 today...for squirrels
« on: July 01, 2006, 04:44:28 PM »
I've about had it with the squirrels eating from my 2 apple trees.
I've delayed buying "another gun" ( my wife :-) and have read several posted opinons about speed, caliber, model and makes.
So I've decided to try this $39 airgun from BassPro shop.
Can't wait till tomorrow to see how effective it is.
I will only be shooting up to about 20 yds from the house to the front or back yard.
I live in a subdivision so got to be quiet about it.
Will let you all know how it does.

A $39 air gun?? It would be just effective to throw rocks at the squirrels. With that thing your only going to tickle their b---s. :D

Hey, I'm trying not to spend much on an airgun.
Anyways I will have to sight the 760 in as it's not accurate enough out the box to hit the squirrel 20 yds out.
