Looking for a nice, compact scope...
« on: May 22, 2006, 06:11:01 PM »
Need to put some glass on a CZ 550 FS...  Looking for suggestions on a good variable compact scope.  Want as much magnification possible in a small scope, but I don't want the image to suffer.

Thanks,

Jim

Or...take a look at the Leupold Ultralights.  Mine is a 3-9x33 and is a shade under 9 oz.  Picture is nice, bright, and crisp.  Perfect match for my 7mm-08 Mountain Rifle in my opinion.

I would look at either a Vx11 2-7x33 or a Vx111 2.5-8x36.
Glass them both & pick,or maybe both   . Flip a coin.

I did this, the 2-7 was the winner this time for the job intended.

But I will also be getting a 2.5-8 to put on the shelf.(Rainy day) . Why,coz they are one hell of a scope.
