Hi. My son recently returned from a tour in Iraq as a Cavalry Scout, and is now at Ft. Hood. I'd like to treat him ( $$$) and a buddy to a hog hunt, within a couple of hour drive or so of their base. Anyone have  any contact leads?? Not looking for trophy size, or deluxe accommodations, just a chance at some much-needed fun.
Thanks in advance!!
Mark

I also have a son at Hood. We want to go down before he ships out over seas again. They do allow hunting certain areas on there vast base. I was interested in doing some varmet hunting. I'm nearing 50 an have never had to pay an hunt. I really don't want to start now. Will be making the call to see what's up.

  Go to www.hoghunting.com

Great place. It is in Centerville, TX, just east of you.

The Langley Ranch is also in Centerville.  I do not have their web address, but know they run hunts all the time as they are across the road from my sisters place.
