Finally sold my house in Jersey, I'm now A new resident of Georgia! Been offline the past two weeks moving. Just got the computer hooked back up yesterday!! Really missed this place! Me and the wife are gonna be celabrating and shooting my little 1 inch bore all weekend!!!! I hope everyone has A great and safe holiday!!! :D  :-)  :lol:

I started my weekend early and shot yesterday. My gun club is currently allowing me to use only one very popular berm so I have to choose times to beat the crowd. Here's a lucky picture from a video.


This is my 2.25" Bronze Mountain Rifle. I was shooting lead Minie balls, about 3.6 pounds, behind 3 or 3.5 ounces of powder. My son and I were able to keep the shots on target at 100 yards. The smoke is yellow since this shot was cannister, lead balls wrapped in aluminum foil. I'm limited to 100 yards at this berm so if anybody in Colorado knows places to shoot cannon somewhat close to Denver please let me know.

For scale, the cannon in front is Gunsmoke's golfball howitzer.

That's an incredible shot! And a beautiful looking mountain rifle.

I managed a lucky shot of Gunsmoke's golf ball mortar earlier today:

OH YES !  My first shot of the season will be on the 30th . Were doing the Rememberance Day  services at Arlington National Cementery again . Look forward  to the honor . This is first the time I am using my personel gun  in the set,  firing  alternatily as the posession  parades to the Tomb Of The Unknown Civil War  Soldier .
