My brotherinlaw and I,have used them for quite a while now. I load them in front of either H414 or H4831. He uses IMR4831 with his. Both loads are right at max and it'll flat knock the water out of a whitetail. One bit of caution...these ain't long range bullets. Most of our deer hunting is within 100 yds. They drop off pretty fast. We're loading them for 243s.

It's not the fact if it's too far. As stated above, load some(5 or 10) and try them at the various distances. Also load some 100 gr pointy ones and try them at the same time ,sam target if possible. You'll be able to see the differences in drop. You'll be the one to make the final decision. For me and my brotherinlaw, after shooting both of our rifles for over 20 years each and knowing them and the cartridge pretty well, yeah we'd probably take a shot at that distance.
