While these WSM chamberings are listed in the '06 catalog, I'm not surprised if they have or will be dropping them. These chamberings aren't exactly popular from my perspective. They're not largely heard of and with Ruger likely wanting to concentrate on more popular models/chamberings, they may drop them or simply make fewer runs of them. For the full scoop, just give their CS a call.

Ya--our local dealer has loads of WSM's from the various manufacturors----I just keep bypassing them lookin for the the oddball .30-06.
I can't wait till they sell them all and get a normal stock in again.

Short magnums, premium high priced ammo, not needed for most uses. I like my 30.06, 30.30 and 45/70. I might modernize a bit and buy a 308 oneof these days if I can find one anymore.

:cb2: Yep, all of my 100 year old cartridges are doing great: .30-30, .45-70, & 6.5 Swede. I have been eyeballing a new rifle, however, and if so will go with the 7mm-08. Don't want anything with "Magnum" on it, except my six-shooters!
