Does your Cannon have the correct Carriage!!!

I know that some of you don't have the correctcarriage or bed for your cannon or mortar.

You have went to a great deal of effort to build a really correct barrel. But just built some "Field Expediant" carriage so you can get to shooting.

Well don't feel like the Lone Stranger...The Brit's did it also during the Boer War of 1899-1900.

Guns taken from HMS Terrible and carriages fabricated from local material as the British troops didn't have Artillery to compete with the Boers.

Guess those sailors just didn't realize that sometime in the distant future, some guy would be looking at that picture in year 2006 and wonder why they didn't display the required powder can or at least a keg along side the gun. :)
