Old model Ruger Single Six

Just purchased an Old Model Ruger Single Six in rough shape so I sent it Back to ruger for reblueing and cleaning up.Plan on using it to hunt squirrels and rabbits any opinions would be appreciated it has adjustable sights .

The old Rugers were great guns, my fathers has accounted for alot of small game, rabbits, squirrels etc.  If your gun is old enough, it didn't have the newer transfer-bar safety, and I expect Ruger will retrofit yours with one while it's at the factory.  It's not a permanent deal, and they are supposed to return all of your origional parts with it.  If for some reason they don't do this, remember that the firing pin will rest on a loaded round anytime the hammer is down.  Enjoy your new/old toy!
