I have a Rossi  30-06 rifle and it doesn't "kick any worse than a 12GA shotgun. :D

I have a .308 Rossi, I had issues with the recoil, strangely it hardly bothers me now, could be the wieght lifting, I dunno.  I had MAJOR issues with getting it to group anything I was prepared to repeat to anyone without blushing.  I tried all the cures mentioned on this forum, including loading 125 gr projrectiles ( even balistic tips ) and backing the powder charge off thinking it was the recoil. Mainly its letting the barrel cool is the important factor.
Now?  well,  I`ve fitted a 4X fixed power scope, I load it full recommended powder charge with 150 gr pills, I`m not concerned if it groups 3 shots the size of a dinner plate at 200 yards, I`ll just use it as a walk into pig habitat and take snap shots rifle and be done with it.  I am concerned where it puts that first shot on a cold barrel, and possibley the second, chances are I`m not going to get 3 off, all things taken into account.
