HEAD LAMPS

How far can you see with one ? I'AM thinking about getting one for night hunting with a shotgun. Not sure if I should get a 6 volt or 12 volt. Where I hunt it's all woods.  :D

heck,I guess as far as it will shine with out any obstructions in the way.they make so many good ones today it is hard to tell how far they would shine.and with a shotgun I reckon you do not really need it to shine very far.and a real bright one will make them close thier eyes or look away...
my huntin rifle is safe from confiscation only while my battle rifle protects it.

I got the one from Optronics because it does require a special hat.  It is  great for shotgun use.  I have the Optronics scope mount for out 200 yards but that light might be too bright for shotgun use.  IM me if you want to know where I purchased the optronics headlamp from.
