I'm looking for cast bullets for my .45LC for hunting. I'm sure there is someong on here that knows where to get them. :grin: Maybe a sponsor or two? :roll:

Here is a place that sells hard cast bullets at reasonable prices.

They list a 255gr SWC that looks good. $28.75 per 500, also many heavier bullets if that's what you want.

They also have gas check bullets if you are looking to shoot them at maximum velocities.

The best place to get cast bullets is from a mold after you pour the lead. It is far more rewarding to take game with bullets you have cast yourself. It cost very little to purchase the equipment to do so.

I have two advertisers on this site who make and sell custom cast bullets. The first to join is BBT and the other is Custom Cast Bullets. Both have banners in the rotation and you can visit their sites by clicking on the bannners when they come up.

Leadheads (http://www.proshootpro.com which has already been mentioned is very good, their 270gr Keith LSWC or 310gr LFN style both shoot great and are reasonably priced.

If you want a heavy Keith LSWC style bullet check out Dry Creek Bullet Works (http://www.creeker.net they have them from 270 to 350 gr. I was just shooting some of their 325gr Keiths at 1,300+ fps from my Bisley this week, very accurate and no leading. They're good bullets.

I was shooting my 480 experimenting with loads and his gave an great group of one chewed up aiming point on Sunday.

Cast preformance have always worked well in my 45 Bisley.

Gray Beard, is this the Custom Bullets from Richland Center, Wisconsin?
If so I have used their bullets for years. What is great about dealing with Wayne is that he will cast to what hardness you want. if he doesn't havea mold for what you want he will try to get one.

I am pretty active in CAS and I buy all my bullets from him. When I wanted a .454, 250 RNFP bullet and he didn't have a mold he had one made.

I can strongly recommend Custom Bullets.
