I HAVE A 243 ULTRA VARMINT I ADDED THE NEW SYN VARMINT STOCKS A 3X9X40 BUSHNELL BANNER SCOPE. I THINK THIS WILL BE A GOOD VARMINT/ DEER GUN IT IS ALL NEW AND NEVER BEEN SHOT SO I WILL LET YA KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT. SORRY FOR THE CAPS IN A HURRY :D

Congrats to ya. My 243 barrel is only the standard, but is one heck of a shooter. If I do my part 3/4" or less with cheap Federal Power Shock 100gr.
I'm starting reloading for it this week and can't wait to work up a good load for both Varmints and Deer.

Sounds great.... my .243 is the SuperLight but it still shoots into 1.5" (3 shots) consistently with Winchester Factory ammo. It rears back a bit more than the Ultra, but with a LimbSaver recoil pad is quite comfortable to shoot.

Should be a good rifle, my .243 is a standard barrel and shoots sub moa no problem. wish ya luck and congrats.
