4200 vs Burris Sig

With both scopes being comparable in $$$. Does the Burr. Sig draw as much light as the 4200? This will be for a BDL 300 RUM that will mainlly be used out west for elk. Like the Bal. Plex setup for the long range shots. Any pros and cons for these 2 and which will work best for this app.
This will be the 4x16x44(50)
PS- is there not places to send scopes off to have the extra crosshairs added.

Can't believe I threw out Bushnelll and Burris with no response. Wake up boys I leave in 4 months.

My biggest ? is how do the two compare in quality. To me that's light, clear, and the glass itself. Have looked thru the 4200 and like very much, but if the Burris Sig line is close to equal I may go with it for the B-plex.

The Elite 4200 is as good a scope as any out there right now. The Burris quality is all over the place as is customer service according to most who have used it. I've gotten so many Burris scopes with floaters in them I no longer even consider that brand when looking for a scope.

I have the 3200 and Burris FF II...........I like my Burris scopes better, cl earer and works great at dawn and dusk.........

I own both, and I like my Elite 4200s much more than my Burris BDs.

The 4200 would be my choice.  I have had issues with Burris products/service.  Although I liked the B-plex. I can live without it.  What a lot of people don't understand is that the duplex recticle works much like the B-plex if used properly.   I would much rather have Rainguard coatings than the B-plex. No need to go with the 50mm.  The 40mm is very bright and clear.  The 50 is just to darn big for a hunting rig.  You should be able to get the Bushy 4x16 for a little over 3 bills if you shop around.  It should be a whole lot less cash than a Sig.   WDO
