got a big fat cow this evening... ELK, that is...

shot her about 7pm, just before dark,  got her outside the garage on the fourwheeler trailer cooling down even as we speak.  now about 10:30.. sometimes ya gotta love living in Wyoming... Les

Congrats. I got mine the day before you did. And yes, Wyoming is a GREAT place to live. What part of the state do live  / hunt?

I live near Big Piney, and hunt mainly north toward Jackson Hole in the Bridger-Teton..  I've lived here for 16 years, and finaly getting to know some  "honey holes"  for elk.  Saw three others just before the one I got, but couldn'g get on em...    Les
