i have some 265 gr. wfngc cast bullets. when i crimp them in the canalure they end up .025 from end the of the cylinder. is this ok?  :oops:

That's pretty normal. I shoot them quite often in my 6.5" blackhawk. And they come awfully close to being flush with the end of the cylinder.

I have had very good luck with 18.5 grains of IMR 4227,CCI 350 and the 265 Cast Performance or Trueshot LBT. Very good accuracy and end to end penetration on deer.
