I just received my Grandson's handy/rifle back with a new barrel. I hade purchased a youth gun in .223 and he killed two deer with it. He has gotten a lot bigger so I sent the frame and had a new 25/06 barrel filled to it. We never could get it to shoot like I thought it should. The kicker came when I cleaned it and then took it back to the range. The first shot didn't even hit the 24" x 27' cardboard backing. I called NEF and they said ship it back and they would check it. Got iot back with a new barrel(have not had a chance to get it to the range) but no word on what was wrong. Note His twin sister is still using her NEF in .223 youth but not for long. Has any one hade problems with the 25/06 fitted barrels?
