Wow I feel better, yep, I finally got off the pot.
I am the proud owner of a Ruger New Model Blackhawk. It is a 6 1/2" barreled model blued W/ walnut grips. I could never decide between .327 mag and .44 mag so pretty much split the difference with a .41 mag.
It is not pristine, which actually is a godsend. I traded a pristine SIG that I could not bring myself to carry. I would call it handling wear. The area where your trigger finger comes in contact with the frame shows some wear and maybe light pitting, the hammer has a bit of tarnishing on the sides near the spur. The cylinder has almost no discernible ring though.
The dealer convinced me it was tight, and looked to have been shot little. ( He could have told me anything he wanted as I know very little about wheel guns ).
Any idea as to age of this thing? It does not have the Warning paragraph on the barrel, and shows South Port Conn. USA #41-144**.
I would like to thank everyone for putting up with my questions and procrastination. The trade is what sealed it, cost me the P-225 and $26.
